Bottled Water

Bottled water, huh?  I really haven’t grasped the idea behind bottled water.  The other day, a friend of mine was complaining about the price of gas, and then followed up the complaint with a refreshing sip of bottled water.  I pointed out that the little 9oz bottle of Evian, which was $1.49, translates to about $21 per gallon….it kinda makes the price of gas a little easier to look at.

What people tend to forget, or don't realize, due to the water cycle, water has always been and will always be the same.  The same water we are drinking today, could have quite possibly been consumed by dinosaurs several million years ago (a few years BEFORE the Rolling Stones started touring).

So manufactures are marketing a product that God created years ago, which makes just as much since as the marketing genius who sold us 'the pet rock' many years ago.  We need to be careful what we buy into, otherwise it will only be a matter of time before we have to start paying Evian (and the other water companies) every time it rains, because that is still technically their product that is falling from the sky.  We need to snuff this ideology now before Bill Gates puts a patent on the sun.  Every time we use daylight, we would have to send him a quarter.
